Data Clean-up of Duplicate Physician Records
A large laboratory testing client was unable to obtain accurate reports due to a large number of duplicated contacts and accounts that had accumulated over many years.
Physicians might have privileges at many hospitals and were present in the Salesforce system as multiple contacts.
We implemented unique NPI (National Provider) numbering for each contact, removed duplicate contacts and re-connected the now single and unique contact to multiple hospitals where they performed services enabling accurate reporting and dashboards.
